Robert C. Barron founded the firm in 1982 after 22 years of service in the US Army. The firm spent it's first decade on the northeast side of San Antonio before moving to its current location off Broadway in Alamo Heights. Bob Barron was born and raised in Alamo Heights where his family was one of the original founding families. He graduated from Notre Dame University before joining the Army and receiving his MBA from Loyola College in Maryland. He is a founding member and former president of the Northeast Chapter of the San Antonio Rotary Club as well as a former president of the San Antonio Chapter of the Ancient Order of the Hibernians.

Robert C. Barron Jr. joined the firm in 2005 in order to follow in his father's footsteps. He spent several years in private accounting before making the move over to public accountancy. He is currently an enrolled agent licensed to practice by the IRS and is working towards earning his CPA license. Rob is currently very active in local San Antonio theater.
